WASHBURN HISTORICAL MUSEUM AND CULTURAL CENTER

This 1893 building landmark is located in Washburn, Wisconsin. It was originally constructed following the Richardsonian Romanesque style, which was so predominant for brownstone buildings of that era. The C&S Design & Engineering, Inc firm was chosen to design a 4 level addition and to lead the restoration of this building into a historical museum. The building was open to the public in the summer of 1994 and continues to be a wonderful addition to Bayfield County and the surrounding area.
