Wanting a home in Kansas City's historic and eclectic Westside neighborhood, this growing family could not find a home that fit their needs.  Instead of looking somewhere else, they found a small house with land to spare, and we set about creating an addition to give them all the space they needed.  The original house was renovated and a new kitchen, family space and master suite added, nearly doubling the size of the home. The addition was linked to the old home with a new entry, bathroom and an informal dining space that features a glass garage door which can be opened to let the outside in.
