After careers with the Department of Natural Resources, this couple was wanting a home in the country that would serve them through retirement.  Nestled within a stand of evergreen trees, their new home was designed with an emphasis on accessibility to serve them as they aged while providing lots of room for visiting kids and grandkids.  The energy-efficient home features geothermal heating and a generator for when a Wisconsin winter storm knocks out power.
