First Congregational Church
Park Falls, WI
The First Congregational Church was built in a time before the Americans with Disabilities Act and when not enough, if any, care was made to make buildings accessible for all users. When the time came to rectify that oversight, it was no small task. In order to preserve the original church, a new addition was needed to provide the space needed for accessibility features. In addition to a new elevator, a new lobby, accessible bathrooms and covered drop-off were all added. Designed to blend in seamlessly with the beauty of the original church, the addition allowed for easy accessibility to all parishioners.
